J&C Memories undertakes an obligation to use reasonable means, rather than an obligation to achieve a particular result.

The customer acknowledges accepting the studio’s artistic style, technical choices and editing.

Raw files (RAW) are never supplied.

7. Identity photographs – specific enhanced clause

Identity photographs comply with the standards in force on the date they are taken.

No refund, exchange or free retake may be demanded following administrative rejection due to a damaged document, an administrative error, changed standards or improper use of the file.

8. Delivery and file retention

Delivery times are indicative.

Online galleries remain accessible for a limited period communicated to the customer.

Customers are responsible for backing up their files.

J&C Memories cannot be held liable for file loss after the availability period.

9. Limitation of liability

J&C Memories’ liability is strictly limited to the amount invoiced for the service.

No compensation may be claimed for moral or commercial harm, loss of business or subjective dissatisfaction.

10. Intellectual property

Photographs and videos remain the exclusive intellectual property of J&C Memories, in accordance with the French Intellectual Property Code.

Reproduction, modification or commercial use is prohibited without prior written authorization.

11. Image rights and publication (excluding identity photographs)

Unless the customer explicitly objects in writing beforehand, J&C Memories is authorized to use and publish images taken in the studio or outdoors for communication, promotion, portfolios, websites, social media and the studio’s commercial materials.

⚠️ This authorization expressly excludes identity photographs, which remain strictly confidential and are never published in any form.

This authorization is granted without time limit or financial compensation, for worldwide publication on any existing or future medium.

Any objection must be made before the service is performed. Otherwise, authorization is deemed granted.

12. Personal data

Personal data is processed in accordance with the privacy policy available through our booking tool and on the J&C Memories website.

13. Disputes and jurisdiction

These terms are governed by French law.

In the event of a dispute, an amicable resolution will be sought.

Failing this, the competent courts for the location of J&C Memories’ registered office will have exclusive jurisdiction.
